摘要: 糖尿病视网膜病变(diabetic retinopathy,DR)是糖尿病常见的微血管并发症之一,是造成糖尿病患者视力损害的重要原因。DR发病机制尚未明确,补体系统作为人体免疫系统的重要组成部分,除了在抵御外来微生物侵袭方面发挥重要作用,还在调节免疫反应、介导炎症方面占有一席之地。目前已有大量研究表明补体系统通过经典途径、旁路途径、凝集素途径以及补体调节蛋白功能异常等多个途径参与了DR的发生发展,这将为研究DR的发病机制以及治疗方案提供新的思路。(国际眼科纵览,2022, 46:477-480,封三)

Abstract: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) which is one of the common microvascular complications of diabetes mellitus is an important cause of vision impairment in diabetic patients. The pathogenesis of DR is not yet clear. As an important component of the immune system, complement system not only plays a key role in defending against exogenous microbial infestation, but also has a place in regulating the immune response and mediating inflammation. A large number of studies have demonstrated that the complement system are involved in the development of DR through classical pathway, the alternative pathway, the lectin pathway, and abnormal function of complement regulatory proteins, which will provide new ideas for studying the pathogenesis of DR as well as treatment options.(Int Rev Ophthalmol, 2022, 46: 477-480, cover III)
